Job Description

Based in Las Vegas, Gothic Landscape is seeking a Sales Manager to lead business development in the local market. The role centers on driving growth, mentoring the sales team, and cultivating relationships with developers, general contractors, and property managers within the commercial construction community. This onsite leadership position blends strategic planning with hands-on execution to win high-value projects in a dynamic market.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement short- and long-term sales plans to grow Gothic Landscape's market share across the Las Vegas region.
  • Lead and coach the sales team to meet revenue targets and performance standards.
  • Assess and adopt new selling approaches to expand the pipeline and improve close rates.
  • Foster relationships with developers, general contractors, property managers, and other decision makers.
  • Identify new market opportunities and deepen existing client partnerships.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade associations, and networking functions.
  • Deliver persuasive sales presentations and secure high-value construction projects.
  • Ensure pricing aligns with profitability goals and approved project estimates.
  • Collaborate with operations and field teams to ensure smooth project handoffs and successful execution.
  • Lead pre-construction meetings to align sales and field operations.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, technical innovations, and competitive activity.
  • Provide strategic input to leadership on emerging opportunities and client needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • 5 to 7+ years of outside sales experience in landscape construction, commercial construction, or a closely related industry.
  • Proven track record of developing new business and managing high-value client relationships.
  • Experience leading or mentoring sales professionals.
  • Sales management experience of at least five years is required.
