You will lead B2B housing partnerships across California and select out-of-state markets, with a focus on corporate, student, and intern housing. Responsibilities
- Prospect and close new B2B partnerships with HR teams, universities, internship programs, relocation partners, and corporate clients across California and key out-of-state markets
- Cultivate and manage a robust pipeline of prospective clients
- Represent the company at housing fairs, networking events, and relevant conferences to promote services, initiate partnerships, and generate leads
- Provide client insights and market trends to internal teams to inform service enhancements and strategy
- Participate in strategic planning and offer feedback to drive ongoing improvement
- Prepare tailored housing proposals and pricing models in collaboration with the finance team
- Negotiate terms and finalize partnership agreements with leadership oversight
- Collaborate with leasing and operations to meet or exceed partner expectations
- Lead and scale the Business Development function, owning the B2B portfolio end-to-end
- Build scalable systems and processes, including CRM structure, pipeline management, and reporting
- Set targets, monitor performance, and drive efficiency across the BD function
- Act as the primary liaison for existing university, internship, and corporate housing partners
- Maintain high partner satisfaction and retention through clear communication and timely follow-ups
- Lead development of BD and client management systems with senior leadership and oversee implementation
- Track performance metrics and prepare renewal strategies and account status reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Real Estate, or a related field
- 5-7 years of experience in student housing, corporate housing, co-living, intern housing, or furnished leasing
- CCHP Certificate
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to build long-term client relationships and grow accounts
- Based in Southern California (Los Angeles preferred) with the ability to travel as needed
- Self-motivated, highly organized, growth-minded, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
