Senior Manager Regional Sales Development
Job Description
The Senior Manager, Regional Sales Development role at Wallenius Wilhelmsen is responsible for driving revenue growth for Logistics and Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) within a defined region. The position partners closely with Key Account Managers (KAMs) and Account Managers (AMs) to develop opportunities, shape solutions, and support customer and internal decision-making through data-led insight.
Core Responsibilities
- Generate new leads to develop a Logistics/SCS opportunity pipeline across the region, with full visibility, prioritization, and alignment to operational capacity.
- Develop high-level customer trust by shaping solutions that address customers’ supply chain pain points.
- Serve as a consultant-partner to influence decision-makers using data-driven insights.
- For solution development, orchestrate AMs, Customer Success (CSM), and Business Units across regions to deliver a coordinated “one-face-to-customer” approach.
- Map the competitive and customer landscape and clearly communicate the unique value proposition of Wallenius Wilhelmsen’s Logistics (LS) and SCS offerings.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling initiatives to increase revenue and exceed revenue targets.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to design integrated supply chain solutions that balance P&L requirements with long-term strategic objectives.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience across supply chain management and general sales, including a proven track record in multi-product solution selling.
- In-depth knowledge of global logistics, SCS business models, and integrated supply chain design.
- Strong customer insight to understand value drivers and WalWil impact on business outcomes.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, including the ability to derive conclusions from data.
- Structured working methods and presentation discipline, with attention to detail and focus on quality.
- Strong “deal-making” instinct, supported by experience in complex B2B negotiations and global tender processes.
- Data-driven mindset with capability to interpret complex logistics data for forecasting and KPI management.
- Proactive, entrepreneurial approach, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and influence stakeholders directly and indirectly.
- Willingness to travel internationally to engage with global stakeholders and customers.

Onsite in Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ.
