Responsibilities

  • Develop long term plans with customers to expand market reach and grow orders, sales, and contribution margin
  • Maintain ongoing customer relationships and ensure satisfaction
  • Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Drive a sales pipeline for complex, multi offering transactions that may include Parts, Repairs, Outage Services, Performance Upgrades, Digital Solutions and Long Term Service or Parts Agreements
  • Develop and maintain key Account Plans with insights on Customer Strategy, ESG policies, organizational structures, buying behaviors, outage forecasts and opportunities
  • Monitor and advance the opportunity pipeline for regional prospects
  • Lead proposal strategies that leverage GE's strengths to meet customer needs while achieving GE business goals
  • Support accurate, current project and opportunity data in NEX
  • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication, and the ability to influence in a matrix environment
  • Lead with interpersonal and leadership skills and collaborate across functions
  • Balance time across multiple initiatives with an integrative, team-oriented approach
  • Work independently and act as a self-starter with solid business acumen and analytic ability
  • Provide demand forecasting and pacing support to Sales Operations and Finance
  • Partner with Marketing and Product Line to develop new products and services for growth

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Alternatively, High School Diploma or GED with 10 years of Power Generation industry experience
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the Power Generation industry
  • At least 5 years of experience with Steam Turbine and/or Generator technology products and services
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Marketing, Sales, Project Management, or Customer Service within the Power Generation sector
  • U.S. remote eligible
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

  • Salary range: USD 128,400 to 213,900 per year; geographic differential may apply (110%, 120%, or 130%)
