Job Description
The Account & Business Development Associate role at United Bridge Partners is an onsite position in Columbus, Ohio focused on driving ADT growth, managing key accounts, recovering revenue, and strengthening community outreach. The role blends field activities with data-driven insights to expand the company’s business footprint.
Responsibilities
- Analyze fleet and customer usage data to identify opportunities to increase ADT and improve services.
- Conduct field activities to discover ADT growth opportunities.
- Expand ADT by building relationships with trucking companies, commercial entities, large employers, and individual drivers.
- Develop and manage key accounts, delivering customized solutions and route optimization assistance.
- Engage with customers on a weekly basis and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Implement and monitor rebate or incentive programs as applicable.
- Oversee customer account setup, inquiries, payments, disputes, transponder distribution, and ongoing maintenance.
- Participate in collections initiatives, including outreach, resolving overdue accounts, and maintaining precise records and escalation when needed.
- Collaborate with collections vendors to enhance performance.
- Complete assigned account audits.
- Maintain documentation and account data with high accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve customer experience and resolve accounts.
- Participate in sponsored or community events to educate customers about tolling and ADT growth, lead marketing efforts, and engage with the community.
- Represent United Bridge Partners at local and regional events to boost brand visibility for the firm and its local assets.
- Manage and monitor social media and email campaigns, tracking performance and reporting metrics to leadership.
- Provide backup coverage for customer service representatives during lunch hours, vacations, and other absences.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience may qualify.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in collections, sales, customer service, marketing, or transportation/logistics preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; data entry and CRM systems required.
- Customer-focused with strengths in conflict resolution, negotiation, and relationship building.
- Capable of working with minimal supervision, owning deliverables, and escalating critical information or approvals as needed, with strong organizational skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Exercises judgment within established procedures to determine appropriate action, including developing alternatives and anticipating next steps.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Proven ability to multitask, stay organized, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while delivering precise and timely work.
- Reliable with consistent attendance and availability for flexible hours.
- Proven track record of managing multiple complex, time-sensitive cross-functional projects.
- Self-motivated team player with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
