Job Description
Area Sales Manager for Garage Beer, a remote-based role serving Madison/Milwaukee, WI and Minneapolis, MN markets.
Responsibilities
- Lead customer and solution driven selling in collaboration with distributor partners.
- Coordinate and guide the development of the annual distributor business plan (ABP) with assigned distributors.
- Execute Garage Beer marketing strategies in the local market in partnership with distributors.
- Analyze, segment, and build target account lists for Garage Beer distribution and display.
- Oversee chain and independent distribution, as well as feature and display programs, to drive volume across assigned distributors.
- Engage in regular in market collaborations to identify retail execution opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience, with 3+ years in beverage, beer, distributor, supplier, or CPG sales.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth.
- Ability to utilize internal data platforms (VIP, Karma) and external data sources (syndicated data, distributor reporting) to identify opportunities, generate insights, and present visually compelling narratives.
- Remote role with travel within the defined footprint, plus occasional travel for Garage Beer or industry events.
