Job Description
Altera Digital Health Inc. offers a remote, U.S. based opportunity for a Corporate Development Account Manager in Denver, Colorado, with a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $115,000 per year.
In this role you will source and originate investment opportunities, engage business owners and executives, and maintain a disciplined pipeline leading to capital deployment.
Responsibilities
- Source acquisition opportunities with vertical market software companies that align with our investment thesis.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with founders, executives, and shareholders to advance opportunities with professionalism and credibility.
- Develop and sustain relationships with bankers and brokers to generate both proprietary and brokered opportunities.
- Oversee and optimize the pipeline in the CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and actionable reporting.
- Proactively balance prospecting volume with quality, continually improving targeting and dialogue effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the broader M&A team to refine investment theses, qualify opportunities, and support conversion from dialogues through offers and LOIs.
Requirements
- Accountable and results oriented: a proven track record of owning outcomes, meeting sourcing and dialogue targets, and converting opportunities into capital deployment.
- Proactive and action oriented: demonstrates initiative, pursues new opportunities, and pushes through obstacles with minimal supervision.
- Executive presence: adept at engaging founders, CEOs, and senior stakeholders; able to influence and establish trust quickly.
- Financial acumen: solid understanding of financial statements and value drivers, applying this knowledge to assess opportunities.
- Strategic judgment: comfortable navigating ambiguity, evaluating risk, and making decisions that advance the right opportunities.
- Collaborative: effective across teams, contributes to portfolio-wide success, and shares knowledge with peers and junior colleagues.
- Experience: typically 3 to 6 years in corporate development, private equity, investment banking, or related M&A roles; experience in a software customer support environment is highly desirable.
