Job Description

This inbound focused Business Development Associate role in Tampa, FL supports Iron Mountain by responding to inbound inquiries, qualifying prospects, and applying consultative selling to drive revenue.

Location: Hybrid remote in Tampa, FL. Salary: USD 55,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the inbound sales cycle from inquiry to close: respond promptly to inquiries by phone, email, or chat; qualify prospects; and leverage consultative selling to convert opportunities into revenue.
  • Develop strategic relationships: initiate proactive conversations to understand a prospect's business objectives and maintain follow-up through timely, purposeful outreach.
  • Meet and exceed targets: maintain a healthy Salesforce pipeline, accurately track and manage leads, regularly update sales forecasts, and hit monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of inside sales or B2B sales with quota-bearing responsibilities and a proven record of surpassing sales goals.
  • Strong familiarity with CRM systems (eg, Salesforce), social selling tools (eg, LinkedIn), and virtual collaboration platforms (eg, Zoom, Teams).
  • Proven problem-solving, negotiation, and consultative selling capabilities to uncover client needs, present tailored solutions, and close deals.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
