Business Development Lead - Private Equity Partnerships
Job Description
Oracle seeks a Business Development Lead for Private Equity Partnerships in Chicago onsite to develop NetSuite's PE partnerships by identifying high-value PE firms, cultivating relationships, and managing a partner-focused pipeline across the PE ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Spot and rank private equity firms with high strategic value for NetSuite.
- Assemble and maintain target account lists of PE firms and their key decision-makers.
- Execute outbound prospecting across email, phone, LinkedIn, events, referrals, and industry networks.
- Arrange introductory meetings with PE firm executives and operating partners.
- Foster multi-threaded relationships across operating partners, portfolio operations teams, technology leaders, and investment professionals.
- Research PE firms, investment strategies, portfolio companies, fund activity, and value-creation initiatives.
- Track market developments including acquisitions, exits, recapitalizations, and fundraising activity.
- Identify portfolio companies that could benefit from NetSuite solutions and connect opportunities to the sales team.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective PE firm relationships.
- Log engagement activity, meeting outcomes, and next steps in the CRM systems.
- Collaborate with account executives, marketing, and sales leadership to align initiatives.
- Support NetSuite participation at PE conferences, networking events, and industry forums.
- Assist with post-event follow-up and ongoing relationship cultivation.
- Contribute to executive engagement strategies for targeted PE accounts.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 plus years in business development, sales development, partnerships, or relationship management.
- Proven success in outbound prospecting and securing executive-level meetings.
- Strong communication, research, and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing complex account plans.
- Ability to work autonomously in a highly targeted, strategic prospecting environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling into or working with private equity firms, investment banks, consulting firms, or enterprise software organizations.

- Experience supporting strategic partnerships or executive relationship programs.
- Understanding of ERP, financial systems, SaaS, or business transformation solutions.
