Business Development Manager
Job Description
Based in Connecticut (onsite) for Absolute Results Productions Ltd, the Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth across a U.S. automotive retail territory with a total compensation range of USD 120,000 to 250,000 per year, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
Responsibilities
- Own revenue growth within a designated United States territory.
- Develop new business and expand existing accounts across automotive dealerships, dealer groups, and OEM partners in a field-based, outside sales capacity.
- Identify opportunities, maintain a robust pipeline through ongoing prospecting and in-person engagement, and guide the sale from first contact to final close.
- Spend the majority of time in market, visiting dealerships, building relationships with decision makers, and presenting Absolute Results as a strategic partner.
- Manage the territory with disciplined pipeline oversight, strong follow-through, and conversion of opportunities into revenue.
- Balance new account acquisition with growth and retention of current clients.
Requirements
- 3 to 7+ years of outside sales or business development experience.
- Automotive industry experience, ideally with dealerships, dealer groups, or OEMs.
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
- Confidence in presenting, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Disciplined approach to pipeline management and forecasting.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and modern sales tools.
- Experience using AI tools in daily workflows.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly.
