Business Development Manager
Job Description
Seattle, WA onsite role for a Business Development Manager at BluSky Restoration Contractors, LLC, offering a base salary of $80,000–$100,000 with commission potential (OTE $50,000–$160,000).
Responsibilities
- Nurture and broaden existing client relationships to boost lead generation and raise average project size.
- Source, present to, and close deals with new prospects for BluSky services.
- Maintain active involvement in targeted associations and pursue committee or leadership roles.
- Support all BluSky sales efforts by following the established sales process.
- Meet current Sanktum KPIs for face-to-face activity.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals and BluSky contingency plans.
- Establish meaningful connections with clients and prospects through meetings, calls, social media, and email.
- Maintain relationships with key figures in the assigned vertical.
- Strategically build a strong and sustainable book of business.
- Document business development activities using Salesforce.
- Collaborate with leadership to plan association involvement and budgets.
- Partner with Senior Management to design and implement local advertising strategies, including content selection and budget planning for the office needs.
- Represent BluSky at tradeshows, golf tournaments, charitable events, and other networking activities, including after hours.
- Work with the sales team to plan and execute BluSky Live seminars.
- Become proficient in BluSky services and related terminology.
- Adhere to company employment standards and best practices.
- Provide high level internal and external customer service at all times.
- Contribute positively to the BluSky culture and community.
- All other duties as assigned.
- This position does not include direct reports.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of outside sales experience, preferably in the restoration industry.
- Ability to attend networking events in the evenings and on weekends as required.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience inputting and tracking sales activities in a CRM platform.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Outgoing, driven, tenacious, and team-oriented attitude.
- Preferred education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
