Job Description
HungryPanda is seeking a Mandarin-speaking Business Development professional in Philadelphia, onsite, with a yearly salary of USD 40,000 to 60,000, to recruit and manage merchant partnerships, drive onboarding, optimize merchant performance, and coordinate campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Source and onboard new merchants across categories such as restaurants and retailers by communicating HungryPanda's solutions and services to secure partnerships.
- Make regular on-site visits to target merchants to present collaboration opportunities, negotiate terms, and complete onboarding steps.
- Build and sustain long-term merchant relationships through consistent support, periodic visits, and addressing operational or service concerns.
- Collaborate with each onboarded merchant to tailor platform strategies, boost performance, and grow order volume and GMV.
- Suggest and coordinate campaigns or value-added services with the Marketing team to raise visibility and drive transactions.
- Maintain and update merchant backend data and configurations to ensure smooth operations and accurate performance tracking.
- Track market trends, collect merchant feedback, and translate insights into actions for business decisions and product improvements.
Requirements
- Mandarin Chinese fluency is required; English proficiency is a plus.
- Experience in B2B sales, merchant acquisition, or offline business development is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with the food delivery sector, local retail, or internet platform operations is a strong advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills; adept at communicating with and building trust with business owners.
- Ability to work independently, manage field visits efficiently, and close deals under pressure.
- Highly organized with solid time management, project coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- A collaborative team player who can work cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Product teams.
