Business Development Representative

Abound Credit Union is looking for a Business Development Representative to support both general and targeted marketing efforts that help grow loan disbursements, expand business development activity, and increase member utilization of credit union products and services. This onsite role serves Hardin, Meade, and Bullitt counties.

Responsibilities

• Stay visible in the communities where Abound Credit Union is present or expected to be by participating in selected civic and business organizations.
• Work to increase Credit Union membership within assigned geographic service areas.
• Initiate and carry through marketing efforts designed to generate increased new loan activity.
• Market Credit Union services to SEGs (select employer groups) and their employees, while maintaining strong, positive working relationships with SEGs.

Requirements

• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Communication skills: Highly developed communication skills.
• Local market availability: Willingness to travel within the local market, work some evenings and weekends, and actively participate in civic organizations.
• Member-focused approach: A desire to present life changing, money saving opportunities to members and potential members.
• Professional presence: Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor and a professional appearance.
