Business Development - Sales Territory Representative

Join SMS as an Outside Sales Territory Representative in Woodland Hills, CA (onsite) and build a stable income mix with commission-only pay, residual income, and daily cash bonuses. The territory is already in place with restricted coverage and pre-set appointments, plus structured training to support your ramp. The realistic first-year earnings range is $100,000 to $110,000, with the potential to reach high six-figure commissions.

This is a full-time role focused on directing appointments with owners of small to medium-sized businesses to market and secure Business Analysts a Survey Agreement. Travel is local, and you’ll coordinate directly around appointments scheduled in advance.

What you’ll do

• Prepare for appointments received from your assistant the day prior, with travel kept local.
• Conduct 3 to 4 sales appointments daily with business owners (small to medium-sized businesses), with the goal of marketing and securing Business Analysts a Survey Agreement.
• After each day’s appointments, provide feedback to your Business Coordinator and share new business lead opportunities.
• Review the day’s successes and challenges with your Sales Manager to get sales support as needed.

What you bring

• 3+ years of business ownership experience and/or 3+ years of face-to-face direct sales experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree preferred, but the company will consider the right experience in place of a degree.
• High self-motivation and self-discipline, with the ability to work effectively with little or no supervision.
• Strong relationship-building skills, especially with business owners, presidents, and CEOs.
• Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to uncover the real “pain” a client may be experiencing.
• Ability to begin work immediately.

Compensation and benefits

• Commission-only structure with residual income and daily cash bonuses.
