Job Description

This remote District Sales Manager role focuses on expanding Intrusion Alarm and Access Control sales with system integrators and local dealers within an assigned region, with approximately 70 percent travel and a base salary plus commission.

Responsibilities

  • Promote Radionix and Bosch intrusion and access control portfolios, ensuring customer needs and expectations are clearly defined and met.
  • Build productive, professional relationships within the branch networks of our Accounts, engaging with Account Managers, Operations Managers, and equivalents in the region.
  • Establish and support Design Engineers within the district or region.
  • Achieve targeted sales volume and strategic objectives.
  • Utilize CRM daily to track key contacts, calls and travel, customer engagement, pipeline, opportunities, next steps, and required resources.
  • Develop and manage a project pipeline to drive incremental revenue in the region.
  • Attend regional road shows, industry events, and trade association meetings to back sales efforts.
  • Provide feedback on product requirements, market trends, and end-user feedback to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to achieve account objectives and meet customer expectations, including management, sales, business development, technical support, and customer service.
  • Partner with Key Account Managers and Enterprise Account Managers to achieve objectives within Strategic Accounts in the region.
  • Engage with partners to drive new sales opportunities across the district with entities such as Genetec and Brivo.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or related field preferred; commensurate security sales experience will be considered.
  • 3–5 years of experience in technical sales preferred, including face-to-face meetings with decision makers or experience working directly for assigned accounts.
  • Excellent technical and interpersonal skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and innovation, with the ability to conceptualize and implement strategic market and product planning, plus strong follow-up and integrative abilities.
  • Strong team player with resourcefulness and self-confidence to drive the product business.
  • Travel of at least 70 percent, primarily in Southern Texas.
