True Financial Lending offers an onsite opportunity in Southfield, MI for a Mortgage Sales Director. The role provides a competitive compensation package with a salary range of USD 85,000 to 400,000 per year, plus commissions and team bonuses. You will join an energetic, supportive environment with a steady flow of live inbound transfers and qualified leads while leading a mortgage sales team to meet and exceed production targets, all while maintaining strict policy and regulatory compliance.
About the Role
As Mortgage Sales Director, you will lead and coach a team of mortgage sales professionals, emphasizing coaching, mentoring, and improvements in overall sales results while ensuring full compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage and guide a team of mortgage sales professionals to drive performance.
- Train, mentor, and push for results while maintaining strict compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Lead and develop the mortgage banking team to consistently reach or exceed production targets.
- Monitor and manage the loan pipeline from application through closing.
- Collaborate with operations, processing, and underwriting teams to streamline workflows and boost efficiency.
- Deploy training programs, coaching initiatives, and performance management systems to strengthen team output.
Requirements
- Current and active NMLS license.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in mortgage sales (Loan Officer or sales leadership background preferred).
- Demonstrated success leading and developing sales teams in a high energy environment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team motivation abilities.
- Strong knowledge of mortgage workflows and loan programs (FHA, VA, Conventional, etc.).
Experience
Mortgage Originating: 2 years (Required).
License / Certification
MLO License (Required).
