Job Description

National Sales Manager role at Waldoch Crafts, onsite in Forest Lake, MN, overseeing the automotive upfitting sales efforts and leading revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and support the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue and growth targets.
  • Effective management of our 8-10 outside sales team members.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Build, maintain, and expand relationships with dealers, fleet customers, and commercial accounts.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for major or strategic customer accounts.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and operations teams to ensure accurate quoting, lead times, and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting activities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
  • Support pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and proposal development.
  • Coach, train, and mentor sales staff to improve performance and product knowledge.
  • Track sales metrics and performance data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Use of HubSpot for CRM and NetSuite for ERP.
  • Management of forecasting and inventory of chassis.
  • Participate in trade shows, customer visits, and industry events as needed.
  • Promote a customer-focused, team-oriented sales culture.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Applicants should have at least 3 years of experience in a sales leadership or sales management role.
  • 3+ years of experience in automotive, upfitting, manufacturing, or related sales environments preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, forecasts, and market trends to drive results.
  • Experience managing CRM systems and sales reporting tools preferred.
  • Understanding of vehicle upfitting, fleet sales, or custom automotive products is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Sales leadership or sales management experience: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Leadership: 5 years (Required)
  • Automotive Dealership: 3 years (Required)

Compensation

  • $75,000 - $300,000 per year
