Responsibilities
- Articulate services, processes, and value to clients and referral partners
- Create and execute territory sales plans and outreach programs
- Identify new markets and growth opportunities
- Keep activities aligned with gross profit targets and business goals
- Adhere to established sales processes and suggest improvements when appropriate
- Complete at least 25 in-person visits per week, including route stops and site visits
- Schedule 3 to 5 discovery meetings weekly with prospects and referral partners
- Develop and maintain strong referral relationships in commercial and insurance sectors
- Deliver presentations to clients and groups
- Maintain consistent brand representation in all interactions
- Represent the organization at tradeshows, association events, and community activities
- Engage with approved industry associations at least quarterly
- Support client events, open houses, and co-marketing initiatives
- Assist with marketing materials and outreach campaigns
- Maintain and update the CRM pipeline on a regular cadence (real-time or end-of-day)
- Manage follow-ups, thank-you notes, and ongoing client communications
- Submit expense reports and maintain accurate records
- Participate in internal sales, operations, and claims meetings
- Engage in ongoing training, workshops, and continuing education
- Stay current on industry trends, claims processes, and best practices
- Contribute ideas to improve sales effectiveness and customer experience
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a field-based sales environment
- Minimum 3 years outside sales experience
- CRM software experience (2 years) preferred

- Work location: On the road
- Willingness to travel: 75 percent (Required)
