Regional Sales Director
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Manage daily regional sales activities, including prioritizing calls, handling leads, pursuing opportunities, and generating quotes.
- Provide technical solution support to customers and reps through phone, video, email, and in‑person meetings.
- Travel regularly to maintain customer presence and continue development of the sales network.
- Maintain and track sales opportunities using Salesforce.
- Serve as the customers’ voice and liaison for technical information among manufacturers reps, engineering, operations, and selling personnel.
- Direct interaction with inside sales support, sales reps, customer service, and sales management.
- Read, understand, and clearly articulate technical applications and outline drawings.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has region-specific Manufacturer Reps reporting to it.
Travel
Travel is as needed to support the various Sales Representatives.
Work Environment
Work will occur both indoors and outdoors depending on travel. The role is fast paced and demanding.

Preferred Education and Experience
- Engineering, Technical, or Business degree (4-year)
- 5-10 years of proven sales leadership
- Experience managing direct reports in a highly technical product or service company
- Enterprise size account management experience
