Job Description

Onsite in Billings, Montana, this Regional Sales Manager role offers a clear path to drive growth across Eastern Montana and Northern Wyoming with strategic leadership, distribution oversight, and a profitability focus. You’ll enjoy a competitive base salary ranging from 78,000 to 90,000 per year, with total annual compensation in the 93,000 to 105,000 range and a performance-based bonus opportunity. Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Shape and execute regional sales plans to meet targets and enter new markets.
  • Recruitment & Hiring: Identify, assess, and assist in hiring Sales Representatives based on criteria set by senior management.
  • Team Development: Coach and mentor team members to enhance performance and professional growth.
  • Operations Management: Oversee sales distribution, define territories and quotas, and monitor customer preferences.
  • Accountability: Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback to executives, and uphold policies and ethics.
  • Travel: Travel to customer locations within the assigned region, typically two to three nights during travel weeks.

Requirements

  • Experience: Five to seven years of sales management experience is required.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead sales teams; prior leadership of a sales team is strongly preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED is required. A Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Extensive experience in relationship management with a solid understanding of customer and market dynamics.
  • Background & Driving: Must pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen, and motor vehicle background check. A clean driving record and insurability are required.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods, stand or walk up to 12 hours in a retail environment, and lift up to 50 pounds to move stock or displays.

Compensation
