Job Description

The Sales Manager will own and accelerate the full sales process across eight service lines, combining hands-on selling today with building a scalable team for growth, supported by a national platform.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end sales pipeline and bid book, overseeing lead intake, estimation accuracy, proposal quality, close rates, and disciplined follow-up
  • Expand recurring revenue within existing accounts across all service lines, including upsells in PHC, irrigation, pest, snow, and holiday lighting
  • Drive new business acquisitions across both residential and commercial segments
  • Maintain precise sales metrics and CRM hygiene, including pipeline reporting, lead source attribution, and win/loss analysis
  • Enforce pricing discipline in collaboration with the GM and PSG to achieve margin targets as well as revenue goals
  • Align sales promises with operational delivery to safeguard the customer experience and resolve escalations
  • Act as a hands-on mentor and recruiter in a player-coach capacity, developing the sales team as growth warrants
  • Coordinate light cross-functional work with operations on capacity planning, route density, and seasonal staffing

Requirements

  • Minimum five years of B2B or B2C services sales experience, including at least two years in a senior IC or sales leadership role
  • Strong preference for green industry experience such as landscape maintenance, lawn care, PHC, irrigation, pest control, or related home services
  • Proven ability to build and convert new pipeline, combining hunter and farmer strengths
  • Consultative selling mindset with the ability to articulate the full eight-service-line portfolio and nurture multi-service client relationships
  • Results-driven and customer-focused, maintaining trust and a reputation built over decades
  • Comfort working with residential, commercial, and HOA accounts, leveraging relationships to grow community and association business
  • Analytical and growth-oriented, capable of year-over-year profitable expansion, pipeline literacy, and margin-driven leadership
  • Demonstrated ability as a genuine player-coach, selling today while building a team
  • Self-directed with initiative; PSG resources are available, but the role rewards agility in a small, fast-moving environment
  • Tech-savvy with experience using CRM software (Aspire), proposal tools, and basic Excel
  • Willingness to obtain the Washington pesticide applicator license within six months; training materials and exam scheduling provided
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for client visits

The Physical Side

  • Comfort working outdoors across Central Washington during property walkthroughs in varying conditions
  • Ability to move around job sites during estimates and client visits, including walking, standing, and bending

Experience

  • Five years of B2B or B2C services sales experience (Required)
  • Three years in a sales leadership role (Required)
