Job Description

The Sales Manager for North America is responsible for leading account management, identifying new business opportunities, and coordinating cross functional teams to drive growth while supporting global product and marketing initiatives in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build and sustain long term relationships with assigned customers to drive sales growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities to boost profitability and support company growth objectives.
  • Oversee Account Managers and track performance against company objectives.
  • Leverage internal resources by conveying customer requirements to R&D, process engineering, production, and Quality teams.
  • Develop and launch specialty products to expand the company’s market share.
  • Collaborate with the customer service team and other departments to maximize customer satisfaction and meet requirements.
  • Prepare quotations and sales contracts for key accounts and help maintain the medical market profile.
  • Lead meetings and present the product portfolio to customers and prospects to differentiate from competitors and uncover opportunities.
  • Travel internationally and domestically for on site customer visits and internal meetings.
  • Participate in trade shows to observe market trends and communicate insights to management.
  • Contribute to evaluating customer product specifications, quality agreements, and complaint responses.
  • Manage customer communications in coordination with other departments to ensure clear messaging.
  • Coordinate regional marketing with global campaigns and provide input for website, social media, and other marketing efforts.
  • Handle regional product management responsibilities in collaboration with other departments under the guidance of the Global Product Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required; preferred fields include Polymers Science, Plastics, Engineering, or Business.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage both small and large organizations.
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts and understand product performance across different applications.
  • Capacity to anticipate market changes and provide management with feedback to sustain market presence and visibility of new products.
  • Analytical problem solving with the ability to collect data, establish facts, and resolve issues professionally.
  • Experience supervising both local and remote staff.
  • Minimum of three years of sales experience in medical, plastics, or related fields.
  • Product management or marketing experience is advantageous.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ERP, and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and domestically.
  • English/Spanish bilingualism is preferred but not required.

Compensation

Salary: USD 125,000 - 150,000 per year.

Work Location and Schedule

Hybrid remote work arrangement based in City of Commerce, California 90040.
