Senior Business Development Manager – Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) Sales Manager

The role focuses on identifying, pursuing, and closing OEM opportunities for EMS services in Northern California. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA, this on-site position requires travel within the territory to cultivate strategic relationships and drive revenue across high-value industries. The compensation range is USD 120,000 to 180,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new OEM opportunities across the assigned territory
• Generate qualified RFQs and convert opportunities into long-term business
• Build relationships with Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations and Executive stakeholders
• Conduct customer visits, deliver presentations, and lead facility tours
• Develop strategic territory plans and business development initiatives
• Collaborate with Engineering, Program Management and Production teams to deliver winning solutions
• Maintain an active pipeline and accurate CRM records
• Represent Synergetics at industry events, trade shows and customer meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B business development or technical sales
• Proven success in generating and closing new business opportunities
• Experience selling complex manufacturing, engineering or technology solutions
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset
• Ability to travel throughout the territory

Highly Desirable

• EMS or contract manufacturing experience
• PCB Assembly, Cable Assembly or Box Build experience
• Electronics distribution experience
• Experience in Semiconductor, Industrial, Medical Device, Aerospace or Defense sectors
• Existing relationships within the Northern California technology ecosystem
