Job Description

Fischer Connectors Inc is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to expand pipeline, drive new business, and increase market penetration across the Mid-Atlantic territory. This remote role combines technical sales leadership, large account ownership, and channel engagement, with a focus on defense, medical, and other high-reliability application markets.

Compensation and Work Location

Salary: USD 130,000 - 140,000 per year

Location: Virginia (remote)

Responsibilities

  • Drive funnel expansion and new business growth through direct customer engagement and collaboration with the distribution channel
  • Develop and execute territory and account plans aligned to growth objectives
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including opportunity identification, technical engagement, quotation, negotiation, and order closure
  • Act as the primary technical sales interface for customers within the assigned territory
  • Use technical resources to support customer engagement
  • Assess customer applications, requirements, and compliance needs
  • Coordinate with engineering to propose connector and cable assembly solutions
  • Monitor competitive activity, pricing trends, and emerging technologies
  • Provide product management with feedback on market needs and gaps
  • Support new product launches and regional marketing initiatives
  • Work with engineering, operations, quality, customer service, and presales teams
  • Ensure accurate forecasting using CRM
  • Support escalation and resolution of technical and commercial issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (engineering or another technical field strongly preferred)
  • 5+ years of B2B technical sales experience in connectors, cable assemblies, or electromechanical components
  • Proven track record selling into high-reliability and technically demanding markets
  • Strong technical acumen and understanding of interconnect technologies
  • Ability to travel as required, 50%–60% within the region
  • Experience selling high-reliability or harsh-environment interconnect solutions
  • Familiarity with high-reliability interconnect product and industry standards
  • Experience working with both direct OEMs and distribution channels
