Job Description

NIXON MEDICAL is hiring a field-based Territory Sales Manager in Beltsville, MD (onsite) to drive new business and strengthen customer relationships across assigned territories. If you enjoy being on the front line of growth, this role centers on prospecting, building trust with healthcare professionals, and achieving measurable sales results while supporting doctors, medical practices, clinics, and other healthcare providers.

What you’ll be doing

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for your territory, including prioritizing target accounts, identifying key decision-makers, and allocating resources to maximize opportunities.
  • Proactively prospect, qualify, and close sales opportunities with doctors and healthcare organizations.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and conduct product trainings, sharing detailed information on features, benefits, and value propositions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers by understanding needs, preferences, and purchasing patterns.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by answering questions, resolving issues, and providing ongoing support to support customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to uncover growth opportunities and differentiation.
  • Collect customer feedback and share insights with internal teams to inform product development, marketing strategies, and sales initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records for sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline opportunities.
  • Produce regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses to measure performance against targets and keep management informed.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; healthcare-related degree or experience is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in medical device sales or within the healthcare industry.
  • A proven record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and credibility with healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
