Agency Sales Manager

The Agency Sales Manager role at Colonial Life & Accident Insurance Company is built around leading a sales team in a hybrid setup from Jonesboro, AR. You will help grow a group of independent sales agents while also supporting business-to-business employee benefits efforts with the goal of strengthening client relationships and expanding broker connections.

This is a contract opportunity designed for an experienced B2B sales professional who can train, recruit, and manage sales activities in the field, alongside ongoing support from the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Train, mentor, and motivate a team of sales agents.
• Source, attract, interview, and select qualified individuals to join your team and the company.
• Deliver field training and participate in joint field work with your team.
• Oversee sales meetings and orientations for both new and veteran sales agents.
• Support business-to-business employee benefits sales activity and accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with business owners, HR professionals, and other decision makers.
• Support a corporate culture focused on high energy, competition, collaboration, and fun.
• Develop and maintain broker relationships.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of B2B sales experience.
• Experience building and leading a team of independent sales agents.
• Recruiting experience.
• Insurance sales experience.
• Life & Accident/Health Insurance License (not required to apply, but willingness to obtain is required).
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to lead and motivate sales teams.

• Salary: $73,000 - $85,000 per year
