Area Sales Manager
Job Description
Agora Data, Inc. is seeking an Area Sales Manager in Piscataway, NJ (onsite). This role is built around helping independent and franchise dealer loan originators grow their participation in the Agora platform and financial solutions while keeping a strong focus on performance.
You will work directly with dealers, manage a pipeline of prospects, and support onboarding and post-launch needs. Agora Data offers a competitive salary plus health coverage, retirement benefits, and performance-based compensation designed to reward measurable impact.
What you’ll be doing
- Create and maintain a prospect account database for originators, continuously building and managing a dealer pipeline across independent and franchise dealerships.
- Respond to dealer questions through all communication channels and provide timely support.
- Partner with Account Managers and other teams to help meet or exceed corporate goals.
- Drive performance through targeted weekly dealer engagement, including advancing surveys, securing MRAs, and gaining commitments from decision-makers.
- Run a Call First Approach: set appointments for in-person meetings, dedicate a couple of days each week to scheduling, and when appointments are not scheduled, complete a minimum of 30 calls per day to maintain engagement.
- Complete 3 to 4 surveys per week (minimum of 2) and secure 4 executed Master Receivables Agreements (MRAs) monthly.
- Provide onsite support during onboarding and follow up within 5 business days after dealer launch.
- Log all dealer communications and outcomes in Zoho CRM.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of automotive finance experience, including selling to dealership owners and top decision-makers.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Zoho CRM.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, possibly with short notice.
