Job Description

SMS is hiring an Outside Sales Territory Representative for the Anaheim area. This is a restricted territory role with pre-set appointments and local travel, built around steady daily activity and real ownership of your results. If you want a sales position where you can earn through performance, SMS offers commission-only compensation with residual income, plus daily cash bonuses. $100,000 to $110,000 in realistic first-year earnings.

You’ll receive comprehensive new hire training and ongoing development, and you will have an administrative support team that is invested in your success. Full benefits after 60 days, and 401k after 1 year, are included, along with health and dental insurance.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare for appointments the day before (travel is local).
  • Lead 3 to 4 sales appointments daily with owners of small to medium sized businesses to market and secure a Business Analysts a Survey Agreement.
  • Provide feedback after appointments by contacting the Business Coordinator and sharing new lead opportunities.
  • Review daily successes and challenges with your Sales Manager to receive sales support as needed.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of business ownership experience and/or 3+ years of face-to-face direct sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but the team will consider the right experience in place of a degree.
  • Self-motivated and self-disciplined, able to work effectively with little or no supervision.
  • Outgoing approach and proven relationship-building skills, especially with business owners, presidents, and CEOs.
  • Strong communication with excellent listening skills to identify the real issues clients may be experiencing.
  • Ability to start work immediately.
  • High school or equivalent (required).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Commission-only role with residual income and daily cash bonuses (expected first year: $100K-$110K).
