Job Description

Line Up Aviation invites qualified candidates to join as Director of Business Development in Florida, onsite. You will establish the U.S. business development function and drive revenue growth in the aftermarket MRO and aircraft component trading market, while managing partnerships with airlines, MROs, lessors, and trading partners. The role centers on building a profitable, long-term pipeline and representing the company at industry events and client meetings. This leadership position offers the chance to shape strategy with market intelligence and pricing insight, and to lead commercial negotiations for component sales and trading agreements as you grow the business from the ground up.

Location: Florida onsite. Salary: On Application. Contract: Monday through Friday. Minimum experience: 10+ years in sales within the aftermarket MRO space focused on trading aircraft components.

Responsibilities

  • Grow revenue within the aftermarket MRO and aircraft component trading market
  • Leverage an established industry network to generate immediate opportunities and build a robust pipeline
  • Identify, originate, and win new business with airlines, MROs, lessors, and trading partners
  • Lead commercial negotiations for component sales and trading agreements
  • Set up and structure the U.S. business development function, including processes and performance metrics
  • Provide market intelligence, pricing strategy guidance, and competitive analysis
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure smooth execution of transactions and lasting client relationships

Requirements

  • Minimum 10+ years of sales experience in the aftermarket MRO industry, specifically trading aircraft components
  • Strong and active industry contact base within North America and globally
  • Proven track record of generating revenue and closing high-value deals
  • Sales consulting background is highly preferred; ideal candidates bring active business and leads with minimal non-compete constraints
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build a function from the ground up
