Job Description

Midco Diving & Marine Services, Inc. is seeking a Director of Sales & Business Development to drive market expansion, lead a high-performing sales team, and align sales with marketing to win multi-million-dollar contracts in potable and industrial water infrastructure. This onsite role is based in Rapid City, SD, offering a competitive salary of USD 80,000 to 150,000 per year and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Market Expansion: lead entry and growth into new potable and industrial water project markets, building strategic relationships with contractors, engineering firms, government entities, and associations
  • Sales Leadership & P&L: guide and develop a team of Regional Account Managers, assuming P&L accountability for sales results and modeling top-tier sales performance
  • Strategic & Operational Excellence: design scalable business strategies, standardize practices through SOPs, and manage the CRM lifecycle to deliver real-time performance insights to leadership
  • Contract & Risk Management: review client contracts and project agreements, develop standardized Master Services Agreements (MSAs)
  • Branding & Marketing: oversee the sales function, manage vendor relationships, and strengthen brand presence via technical presentations, trade show management, and creation of compelling marketing collateral and SOQs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or JD preferred due to emphasis on contract law and P&L management
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in business development, strategic marketing, and sales leadership, with substantial exposure to the commercial diving, construction, or heavy civil sectors
  • Technical Skills: advanced proficiency in CRM architecture and strategic capture planning for government and municipal bids
  • Leadership Provenance: demonstrated ability to manage multi-million-dollar P&Ls and influence at an executive level
