Highland Lake Inn and Resort in Flat Rock, NC is seeking a Hospitality Group Sales Manager to lead social group and events sales, guiding inquiries from initial contact through execution. This full-time role collaborates with culinary, banquet, and guest services teams to deliver memorable experiences, with evenings and weekends required.

Responsibilities
- Drive social group and events sales to achieve and surpass revenue targets.
- Coordinate site tours and visits for prospective clients.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to expand market share.
- Host site tours, tastings, and meetings to illustrate venues and offerings.
- Cultivate relationships with clients, event planners, vendors, and community partners.
- Prepare tailored proposals, contracts, and event budgets.
- Collaborate with banquet, culinary, and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution.
- Showcase the resort at bridal shows, networking gatherings, and community functions.
- Coach and mentor sales staff on negotiation, time management, and client engagement best practices.
Requirements
- Friendly, outgoing demeanor is a plus.
- 3–5 years of experience in wedding, banquet, event, or hospitality sales, with resort/hotel experience preferred.
- Proven success in meeting sales targets and closing deals.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and organizational abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with CRM or event management software such as Visual One, Delphi, Cendyn, or Tripleseat.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred.
