Job Description

This hybrid role based in Wallingford, CT carries a yearly salary of USD 115,000 and centers on crafting and executing regional sales and marketing plans, coaching the regional business development team, and cultivating referral partnerships to grow In-Home addiction treatment. The position collaborates with Outreach, Admissions, and senior leadership to align strategy within budgetary constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Lead regional growth initiatives by implementing strategies to boost sales and drive company expansion.
  • Provide strategic direction to the regional business development team, resulting in improved compliance, greater market share, and net census growth.
  • Deliver weekly progress reports to the Vice President of Business Development and the Agency Directors on monthly pipeline pacing.
  • Manage weekly regional meetings with Admissions Department leaders, Agency Directors, and the Business Development team.
  • Develop and deliver ongoing training for the business development team in line with company policies, processes, strategic initiatives, and goals.
  • Conduct monthly ride-alongs with each regional business development professional, offering ongoing support, and providing regular feedback and development opportunities.
  • Assess the skills, growth potential, and opportunities for each regional BD professional and submit a monthly report to the Vice President of Business Development and the Agency Directors.
  • Oversee monthly documentation checks for BD professionals to ensure proper tracking of external referrals, inbound leads, activity counts, and related matters, with reporting to the Vice President of Business Development.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Hybrid position; candidates must reside in CT, MA, RI, ME, NH, NY, or NJ.
  • Must possess regional Business Development experience within a hospital or clinic setting, or in the Substance Use Disorder and Behavioral Health sectors.
  • 2–3 years of regional managerial BD experience within the healthcare field (BH/MH, SUD, etc.).
