Job Description

HMG Healthcare LLC is looking for a Regional Director of Business Development to support growth in the skilled nursing sector across the North Western areas of Texas. This onsite role focuses on building relationships, executing strategy, and guiding business development efforts that translate into measurable outcomes for senior leadership.

In this position, you will develop and run comprehensive business development plans, partner with internal teams to ensure service alignment, and oversee a team of business development professionals. The role also includes ongoing analysis of market conditions and regulatory changes to help maintain a competitive edge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement end-to-end business development strategies targeting skilled nursing facilities and related healthcare partners.
  • Identify, cultivate, and sustain relationships with key stakeholders including hospital discharge planners, physicians, and insurance providers to support patient referrals.
  • Lead negotiation and contract discussions to secure partnerships and service agreements.
  • Collaborate with marketing, clinical, and operations teams to align business development initiatives with organizational goals and support high-quality service delivery.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes, adapting strategies as needed.
  • Manage and mentor a team of business development professionals, including guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Prepare and present regular reports covering business development activities, outcomes, and forecasts to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in business development within the skilled nursing or post-acute care industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute growth strategies in healthcare environments.
  • Strong knowledge of skilled nursing operations, reimbursement models, and the regulatory environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
