Job Description

Based in Columbus, OH and onsite, the Regional Sales Director leads and grows sales activities in an assigned region for Tonix Pharmaceuticals through Inizio Engage. This field-based leadership role manages Account Managers, drives regional performance in the fibromyalgia space, and reports to the Area Sales Director. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of sales leadership experience. The role offers a competitive annual salary of USD 144,000 to 195,000, plus a comprehensive benefits package, reflecting a culture that prioritizes accountability, integrity, quality, innovation, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed regional sales targets consistently
  • Build, recruit, and lead a high-performing regional sales team
  • Align in-field activity to deliver results with assigned key accounts
  • Leverage market segments and team dynamics to improve revenue and profitability
  • Develop and execute the regional plan of action and lead required meetings
  • Create and implement territory business plans to meet or exceed objectives
  • Maintain product, policy, and business knowledge to respond accurately to inquiries from staff and customers
  • Demonstrate urgency and thorough follow-up with integrity in all interactions
  • Available to cover key accounts in the geography as needed during account manager vacancies
  • Adhere to safety, GMPs and SOPs in all activities
  • Advocate the company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork
  • Tackle ad hoc projects to support Tonix initiatives
  • Collaborate regularly with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Market Access

Requirements

  • Proven track record of sales success, leadership, and talent development
  • Experience with patient access and market access pull-through is required
  • Ability to provide candid, effective feedback and manage performance efficiently
  • Knowledge of FDA Marketing Compliance, PhRMA Guidelines, and the Sunshine Act
  • Willingness to travel 3 to 4 days per week, including overnights and weekends, by any transportation
  • Team-oriented and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
  • Highly organized, results-driven problem solver who collaborates well
  • Able to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and mobile technologies
  • Experience in fibromyalgia, rheumatology, neurology, or pain management preferred
  • Product launch experience preferred
