Job Description

Own regional growth for Bullard’s Industrial Health & Safety portfolio by building distributor capability and driving end-user sales across a multi-state territory.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of Bullard products to end-user customers through distributor channels
  • Assess, build, and develop distributor capability to scale in line with Bullard’s strategic growth plan
  • Lead distributors to sell and expand Bullard product presence within the assigned region
  • Execute tactical and strategic go-to-market plans focused on growing end-user customer base and increasing revenue, customer growth, and retention
  • Create territory plans and assign quotas for regional coverage areas
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop, build, and track a pipeline of opportunities and leads through close
  • Provide accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual regional forecasts of sales achievement
  • Ensure distributor selling approach emphasizes customer value, product features, and functionality
  • Represent Bullard at end-user customer forums and distributor events to generate new business and increase sales
  • Achieve regional revenue targets while re-evaluating market and prospects as needed
  • Manage customer satisfaction by ensuring distributor responsiveness to customer needs and supporting customer-critical escalations
  • Develop accurate planning cycles including three-year, one-year, and quarterly plans to enable cross-functional business decisions
  • Develop, acquire, and retain new and existing distributors to increase market share in the region
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds of product or literature for customer demonstrations and/or trade show setup
  • Ability to stand and sit for extended periods to support product demonstrations and trade shows

Requirements

  • Industrial Health & Safety sales experience through either a distributor or manufacturer
  • At least 5 years of demonstrated regional growth selling to end-users and through channel partners (distributors) in the industrial market
  • Proven persuasive selling and training techniques that help end-users and channel partners understand product and brand value
  • Repeatable sales life cycle approach with ability to identify leads and close in new and existing markets
  • Demonstrated capability creating and communicating accurate regional forecast and growth plans to cross-functional teams
  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent from an accredited four-year college or university

Nice to have

  • Proven ability to drive results using customer relationship management software such as Salesforce to manage and track prospects and leads, and perform analysis to achieve regional sales goals
  • Experience tracking and achieving key sales metrics such as sales achievement to plan, deal size, sales cycle time, and lead closure for a region

Location: Nevada (remote)

Compensation: USD 85,000 - 105,000 per year
