RIA Enterprise Business Development - Assistant Vice President / Vice President
Job Description
In this senior enterprise business development role at iCapital, based in New York, NY with a hybrid work setup, you will help expand the firm’s enterprise footprint within the US wealth channel. You’ll drive growth by engaging both new prospects and existing clients, crafting pitches, performing market analysis, negotiating contracts, and coordinating implementations alongside the Relationship Management team.
Responsibilities
- Support a team focused on identifying and advancing new enterprise opportunities with both new clients and prospects, while aligning closely with the Client Management group and other specialists.
- Adopt a consultative approach to identify and win enterprise accounts that can utilize all or part of iCapital’s proposition.
- Educate clients on the breadth of iCapital’s technology capabilities.
- Provide detailed pipeline updates and reporting for the Client Management teams and other internal stakeholders.
- Channel client and prospect feedback to the organization to enhance solution delivery and the overall client experience.
- Lead platform demonstrations for new prospects, respond to RFPs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on launches and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a business development or relationship management role.
- 5+ years of experience within financial services or financial technology.
- Proven ability to deliver and commercialize a complex product set or technology platform for sophisticated clients.
- Strong domain expertise in Alternative Investments, Structured Investments, and Annuities.
- Demonstrated track record of building, expanding, and sustaining relationships with senior decision makers and key stakeholders.
- Experience operating effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Ability to organize client coverage across product lines and channels to drive penetration and coordinated support models.
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate execution and optimal client outcomes.
- Strong client service orientation with a focus on responsiveness, follow-through, and stakeholder management.
- Series 7 and 63 licenses are preferred.
