Job Description

Sales and business development leadership role focused on expanding the Americas presence in precision machining and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and expand sales opportunities in the Americas within the precision machining and hydraulic sectors; build and sustain customer relationships; respond to inquiries; and steer commercial negotiations to close deals.
  • Design and optimize regional sales processes to accelerate lead-to-order conversion.
  • Develop deep knowledge of product specifications and machining methods to deliver effective technical support and relay customer needs to engineering teams.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence on industry trends, competitors, and customer activity across the Americas for the precision machining and hydraulic industries.
  • Offer insights and recommendations on service offerings and operational improvements to support strategic planning.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, technical seminars, and targeted marketing programs; engage with local manufacturing associations to elevate brand visibility as a precision machining and hydraulic leader.
  • Collaborate with regional teams and internal departments (production, engineering, quality, customer service) to ensure timely project execution and proactive customer support.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of technical sales or business development experience in machining, hydraulic, or related industrial sectors.
  • Strong understanding of machining processes, the hydraulic industry, and OEM customer requirements.
  • Proven network of contacts within relevant industries across the Americas.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, develop regional go-to-market strategies, and meet sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the Americas.
  • Work location: On-site in Sarasota, FL 34243, or remote from Dallas, TX.
