This on site opportunity in Indianapolis, IN centers on leading group sales, managing the full sales cycle, and driving revenue through strategic planning in collaboration with cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Become the hotel's primary liaison for prospective clients seeking group accommodations, meeting space, and related food and beverage services.
  • Identify and cultivate new business by responding to inquiries, proactively reaching out, qualifying leads, and pursuing potential clients.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from site visits and client entertainment to proposal creation, rate determination, contract negotiation, and ongoing account service.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans aimed at meeting or surpassing revenue and room night targets, adapting as performance and market conditions change.
  • Analyze sales performance, review lost business data, and identify opportunities to improve conversion and competitiveness.
  • Coordinate cross department efforts to fulfill contracted services and maintain exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Lead and develop the sales team by supervising, coaching, monitoring performance, and fostering a positive, productive environment.
