This full-time Sales and Business Development Representative role in the Merchant Cash Advance sector is based onsite in Islandia, NY, offering a base salary plus uncapped commissions and bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Qualify prospects, assess funding needs, and match clients with suitable funding options.
- Gather and submit required documents, collaborating with a team of peers.
- Present and cultivate relationships with leads to convert merchants into ongoing clients.
- Make 250 plus outbound calls per day using a dialing system.
- Educate business owners on the benefits of merchant cash advances and alternative funding solutions.
Requirements
- Sales experience; MCA or lending industry experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, stay self-motivated, and proactively drive activities.
- Strong follow-up and follow-through.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain resilient.
- Comfort with high-volume cold calling and lead generation.
- Experience with Gmail, dialing software, and CRMs is helpful.
- Team player with an organized and thorough approach.
- Open to feedback and able to apply guidance.
