Job Description

Coastal Reliability Solutions LLC offers an on-site Industrial Sales Manager role in Oldsmar, FL where engineering insight meets strategic sales leadership for an industrial pump distributor. The position provides a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $150,000 per year, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan with company matching, along with paid time off. You will join a collaborative, growth-oriented culture that values hands-on coaching and the development of a high-performing outside sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, onboard, and mentor Outside Sales Representatives to build a top-tier, high-impact sales force.
  • Join team members in client meetings to model best practices and help close opportunities.
  • Define territory goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and deploy strategies to deepen market presence.
  • Develop relationships with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction firms to influence specifications for our pump brands on new projects.
  • Oversee the full sales cycle for the team, from lead qualification and on-site visits to equipment sizing, proposal negotiation, and closing.
  • Identify new market segments and craft growth plans tailored to each territory.
  • Serve as the primary technical resource for product selection, leveraging internal resources and delivering training for staff and clients.
  • Research and reach out to new prospects via cold calling, networking, and digital outreach to build a robust pipeline.
  • Cultivate durable, long-term relationships with new, existing, and former clients to drive repeat business.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to shape strategies for entering new markets or launching new services.
  • Lead negotiations with potential partners, prepare proposals, and close deals aligned with financial goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering is required; mechanical or chemical engineering or equivalent rotating equipment experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Hydraulic Institute Standards and rotating equipment, specifically pumps.
  • Minimum five years of outside industrial sales in a leadership role with a focus on value-based or consultative selling.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, typically 50% or more, to oversee territory teams and meet clients in person, including occasional overnight stays as needed; attendance at manufacturer product trainings and sales meetings as required (infrequent).
