Marketing & Business Development Manager, Autonomous Driving
Job Description
IDrive Inc. is hiring a Marketing & Business Development Manager for IDrive Autonomy to help automotive manufacturers bring ADAS/AV capabilities to market. This role blends consultative business development with go-to-market marketing ownership, guiding prospects from technical evaluation through pilots and into signed licensing agreements. You will also represent the company at industry events and build externally focused materials that clearly explain how IDrive Autonomy’s foundation-model approach differentiates from static, rule-based competitors.
This is a remote opportunity in the United States with an estimated salary range of USD 130,000 to 150,000 per year. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree.
Responsibilities
- Lead business development and licensing sales for IDrive Autonomy across automotive OEMs, with focus on lean/budget vehicle manufacturers and legacy automakers without in-house AV software teams.
- Build trust with engineering leads through C-level decision-makers, accelerating the path from initial technical evaluation to pilot deployment and signed licensing agreements.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities through direct outreach, industry events, and inbound interest driven by marketing campaigns.
- Own marketing positioning and collateral for IDrive Autonomy, including pitch materials, technical one-pagers, and messaging that differentiates the continuously-improving foundation-model approach.
- Represent IDrive Autonomy at trade shows and conferences, engaging targeted prospects and strengthening relationships with existing partners.
- Maintain rigorous CRM discipline by tracking contacts, deal stages, and forecasted licensing revenue across active conversations.
- Partner with engineering to convert technical validation data (engaged miles, safety performance, road coverage) into proof points for prospective licensees.
- Identify and preempt technical, commercial, and organizational barriers that could slow deals, and proactively propose solutions.
Requirements
- Proven track record of exceeding sales or business development targets, ideally within automotive technology, ADAS/AV, or related deep-tech B2B licensing.
- Comfort operating in long, technical, multi-stakeholder sales cycles typical of automotive supplier relationships.
- Strong communication skills to credibly engage both engineers evaluating the technology and executives assessing the business case.
- Self-directed, organized, and able to manage multiple concurrent OEM conversations without losing detail.
- Curiosity and analytical mindset, with a genuine interest in understanding a prospect’s technical and business constraints.
- Marketing instincts to translate technical differentiation into clear, credible external messaging.
- Willingness to travel for industry events and in-person OEM meetings.
- Bachelor’s degree (required).
