Job Description

Eqvista is seeking an outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) for a contract-to-permanent, in-office role based in Monterey, CA. The position focuses on outbound prospecting, qualifying leads, and feeding the sales pipeline within our fintech equity management platform, with compensation in the USD 40,000 to 45,000 per year range.

Responsibilities

  • Identify prospects, present our solution, schedule sales calls, and repeat the cycle.
  • Own the top of the funnel and drive initial engagement.
  • Research and map target accounts within the ICP to identify high-potential prospects.
  • Build and manage data-driven outreach lists using Clay, Apollo, Leadspicker, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Execute multi-channel outbound campaigns with a focus on personalization and conversion, including cold calls, cold emails, and LinkedIn DMs.
  • Meet and exceed activity and meeting-booked targets.
  • Utilize the recommended tools for tracking, automation, and precise targeting.
  • Qualify leads, set meetings, and hand off warm, high-intent prospects to Sales.
  • Provide real-time market insights to marketing and leadership to sharpen messaging and campaigns.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in outbound B2B sales or SDR roles, with a proven track record of at least 3 years in a deal-closing AE role demonstrating consistent success.
  • Proficiency with HubSpot CRM.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Clay, Instantly, Apollo, Leadspicker, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Competitive drive and a passion for achieving and surpassing goals.
  • Self-directed, adaptable, and able to thrive in the fast-moving environment of an early-stage company.
  • Experience in selling SaaS solutions to executive-level stakeholders is preferred.
  • References from previous colleagues or employers are a must.
  • Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Business Administration, or related fields preferred.
