Job Description

Standard Textile is seeking a Regional Sales Director for Hospitality to lead East Coast sales and shape the growth of our Hospitality offerings. This onsite role in Boston, MA, centers on building durable customer relationships, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and driving the regional team to achieve the sales growth strategy while developing the next generation of sales talent.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the regional team, cultivating accountability, professional development, high performance, and ethical behavior
  • Run ongoing direct report one‑on‑ones and regional sales meetings to maximize performance
  • Manage quotas and the incentive structure to meet or exceed targets
  • Enhance sales team effectiveness and adoption of best practices
  • Lead change initiatives by identifying opportunities, championing improvements, and removing growth obstacles
  • Collaborate across Business Units and Functions to meet objectives while balancing competing priorities
  • deeply understand the company value proposition, become an expert in product line and system offerings, and train a team of client sales associates
  • Establish and maintain productive peer relationships with customers and prospects
  • Advocate for customers while remaining aligned with company interests
  • Effectively manage the regional opportunity pipeline and support direct reports in winning regional opportunities
  • Optimize Salesforce usage to manage pipeline, velocity, and deal-stage conversions
  • Enhance end-user experience while helping reduce clients' operational costs
  • Demonstrate understanding of how contracts and business transactions impact financial statements and risk
  • Uphold fiduciary responsibility when dealing with customers, vendors, and third parties
  • Identify and mitigate risk in transactions, contracts, and related items
  • Ensure accurate forecasting across short and long sales cycles for the region
  • Coordinate with product, supply chain, and sales teams to ensure timely, fiscally responsible forecasts
  • Align regional sales objectives with BU strategy through active planning, forecasting, budgeting, and resource planning
  • Identify and help prioritize opportunities for new product development
  • Maintain market knowledge of competitors, including pricing, offerings, and market share, to drive growth through informed positioning

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales KPIs and delivering year-over-year growth
  • Four-year college degree; MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, with preferred exposure to healthcare, education, hospitality, interiors, or related markets
  • 3+ years of experience leading a sales team with a track record of results
  • Salesforce or equivalent CRM experience
  • Willingness to travel up to 50–75% of the time
