Job Description
Overview of the Sales Development Representative role at Whitaker Roofing Co in Nashville, TN (onsite).
Responsibilities
- Canvas residential neighborhoods and knock approximately 250 doors per week
- Set 10 qualified homeowner appointments per week for our roofing sales team
- Qualify leads by identifying homeowners with interest or roofing needs
- Log all activity and appointments in our CRM daily
- Attend weekly team sales meetings and one-on-one coaching sessions with your SDR manager
- Work 2 days/week in the field alongside your SDR manager (company vehicle provided)
- Run your own assigned territory independently 3 days/week
Requirements
- Self-motivated and disciplined; able to manage your day without supervision
- Resilient under rejection and relentless in pursuit of results
- A natural communicator who can build trust quickly at the door
- Physically capable of climbing ladders and conducting roof inspections
- Hungry for financial freedom and willing to put in the work to achieve it
- Sales experience is a plus, but the right mindset is the primary criteria
Benefits
- Guaranteed base: $525/week ($27,300/year), paid weekly regardless of appointments set
- Appointment bonus: $35 per qualified appointment; earning $350 weekly when hitting 10 appointments per week
- Gas stipend: $40 per day for your three independent working days ($120/week)
- Tiered commission: 0.5% on the first $200,000 in generated sales
- Tiered commission: 1.0% on $200,001–$500,000 in generated sales
- Tiered commission: 1.5% on $500,001+ in generated sales
- Top performers earn all-expenses-paid trips, including fishing excursions and beach retreats
