Senior Business Development Representative
Job Description
Senior Business Development Representative opportunity at DenTech Industrial, based in Denver, PA with hybrid work options and up to 75% travel across PA/NJ/NY, focusing on prospecting, relationship-building, and closing new customer opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Identify, target and win new customers and opportunities within the territory
- Generate leads via proactive research, cold outreach, networking, and in-person visits
- Conduct meetings and presentations to understand client needs and propose tailored DenTech solutions that differentiate from competitors
- Handoff qualified leads to the internal sales and operations teams for proposals, quotes, and order execution
- Collaborate with cross-functional DenTech teams (technical sales, operations) to deliver value-driven solutions
- Close orders and meet revenue targets
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to expand market presence
- Track activities, opportunities, and performance metrics in the CRM
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and yearly revenue targets
Requirements
- Proven track record in an outside sales role with a hunter mentality
- Experience selling into industrial manufacturing and/or distributors/network partners is highly desired; mechanical aptitude is a plus, food industry experience is a bonus
- Comfort with cold calling and in-person meetings
- Strong communication, negotiation, and closing abilities
- Ability to identify and engage with key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Self-motivated with solid time management and territory planning skills
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Salesforce, and proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the territory
