Job Description

Steadily Insurance Agency seeks a Business Development Manager in the Kansas City Metro to expand its independent agency partner network, onboard new partners, and drive growth in an in-office, full-time role.

Responsibilities

  • Grow Steadily's network of independent agency partners by handling inbound leads and pursuing outbound opportunities
  • Screen and interview prospective agency partners to meet or exceed Steadily's quality standards
  • Enhance agent productivity by building solid agency relationships and establishing clear expectations from the outset
  • Support expansion of the agency footprint through targeted outreach in designated markets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify needs and set priorities

Requirements

  • Proven sales professional with strong presentation skills and deep familiarity with the independent agency ecosystem
  • Solid property and casualty insurance background, comfortable discussing underwriting guidelines and principles
  • High digital fluency and ability to leverage data and technology to inform decisions
  • Self-driven with the ability to manage responsibilities with minimal supervision and a strong work ethic
