Job Description
Trans Tech is seeking an on-site Business Development Representative in Charlotte, NC. This full-time role centers on reconnecting CDL graduates with employment opportunities, guiding them through the placement process, and cultivating partnerships with carrier partners to improve student job placement outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Contact recent graduates and previous students by phone, text, email, and CRM campaigns.
- Guide graduates through the job placement process.
- Match students with opportunities from our carrier partners.
- Build and maintain relationships with trucking companies and recruiters.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate hiring activities.
- Track all communication and placement activity in the CRM.
- Follow up with students after employment to ensure successful onboarding.
- Work closely with Admissions, Training, and Career Services teams.
- Meet weekly placement and outreach goals.
- Help increase graduate employment rates and employer satisfaction.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in sales, recruiting, business development, staffing, customer success, or career services.
- Outstanding phone and communication skills.
- Comfortable making 75–150 outbound calls, text and emails daily.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to build trust quickly.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office.

Preferred
- Experience in BDC automotive, transportation sales, logistics placement, staffing, recruiting, or workforce development.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and commercial trucking is a plus.

Compensation
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
