Job Description

Resource Environmental Solutions LLC offers a client-facing role that centers on meaningful environmental impact, cross-functional collaboration, and professional growth. Based in Nashville, TN with remote flexibility, this position focuses on marketing integrated delivery projects in mitigation, water quality, and resilience, while you serve as the RES face to clients and partners across the Southeast to identify and close opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Market integrated delivery projects directly to prospects and clients in mitigation, water quality, and resilience; promote RES solutions throughout the Southeast region.
  • Represent the face of RES to clients, agencies, and industry partners; help identify and close opportunities for ecological restoration, water quality, and resilience solutions.
  • Blend relationship-building, strategic planning, and technical insight to position RES as a trusted advisor and industry leader.
  • Collaborate with land, regulatory, design, and project teams to pursue and win business opportunities in the assigned market.
  • Identify qualified leads, manage external relationships, and lead proposal development and deal structuring.
  • Track permitting timelines, understand deal components, and coordinate cross-functional resources.
  • Represent RES during key client meetings and industry events.
  • Present financial summaries to clients and guide internal teams on project pursuit strategy, connecting RES capabilities to market opportunities from idea to execution.
  • Travel regionally to visit project sites, meet regulators and clients, and represent RES at conferences and partner events.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Environmental Science, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a related industry, dealing with complex solutions with multi-year sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
  • Experience assessing and managing project timelines, identifying risks, and aligning teams to meet deliverables
  • Experience interpreting financial models and communicating the financial health of deals
  • Experience with contracts and key provisions; legal awareness in deal structuring

Ideal qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a related industry with complex solutions and multi-year sales cycles

  • Experience interpreting financial models and communicating deal health
  • Experience with contracts and legal awareness in deal structuring

What will make you stand out

  • Experience with environmental regulations and permits/approvals (for example CWA 404/402/401, NWP/IP, NPDES, ESA)
  • PMP or advanced training in project or deal management
  • Knowledge of stream and wetland design and construction methods
  • Relationships with local, state, and federal regulators in your region
  • Experience reviewing regulatory documents, delivering deliverables, and responding to agency comments
  • Experience with science, design, or construction of wetlands
