District Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive district performance by overseeing product lines within the district scope and budget.
• Recruit and supervise sales staff to meet or exceed goals, monitor progress against forecasts, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Identify potential management candidates and present them to the Zone Manager.
• Manage district budget items on a line-by-line basis.
• Represent Paychex professionally to clients and the broader community.
• Collaborate with branch managers to establish mutual objectives and resolve issues using partnership principles.
• Ensure weekly activity reports are accurate and audit commissions and expenses.
• Lead ongoing training for sales representatives in technical knowledge, competitive knowledge, and sales skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Marketing
• 3 years of experience in Sales or marketing

Location: Salt Lake City, UT onsite.

Compensation

The typical compensation range for this role is USD 125,000 to USD 265,000 per year. This range includes base pay plus commissions and does not account for other components of the total rewards package. Final compensation will reflect geographic location, skills, education, and experience and may fall outside this range.
