Job Description

This senior business development role is focused on driving growth in logistics by identifying new opportunities and cultivating relationships with existing and prospective clients. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to tailor logistics solutions and achieve revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the company's client base.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Perform needs assessments to tailor logistics solutions.
  • Develop and present compelling sales proposals, negotiate terms, and finalize contracts.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to design and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market developments to identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain up-to-date client information and sales activity in the CRM, including progress reports.

Requirements

  • Two years of proven experience in logistics sales.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and convey logistics processes and solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented with a history of meeting or surpassing sales goals.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.
